Privacy Policy

The short version

The Structural Snapshot is designed to map the structure of a situation without requiring identifying information. It does not ask for the name of your organisation, the names of individuals involved, or financial specifics. This is deliberate. The framework works on structure, not on identities. And you should not have to hand over sensitive details about people or institutions in order to get useful structural analysis.

What follows is a fuller account of what information this site collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.

What information is collected

Through the Structural Snapshot form: situational and contextual information you choose to provide in response to structured questions. This may include your name and contact email if you choose to provide them, and a description of the situation you are facing. The form is designed to elicit structural information (pressures, authority lines, constraints, timing) rather than identifying details about organisations or individuals.

Through the Engagements contact form: your name, email address, and any context you provide about the enquiry.

Through standard site operation: basic technical data such as pages visited and approximate location, collected automatically by the hosting platform. This is standard for all websites and is not used to identify individuals.

What the information is used for

Information submitted through the Structural Snapshot is used solely to assess whether a Situation Report is appropriate and, where it is, to prepare that report. It is not used for marketing, shared with third parties, or retained beyond the duration of the engagement unless you have agreed otherwise.

Information submitted through the contact form is used to respond to your enquiry and for no other purpose.

What the information is not used for

There are no newsletters. There is no automated marketing. Submitting a form of any kind does not add you to a mailing list.

Your information is not sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties except where required by law.

How information is protected

Submissions are received and handled by one person. They are not processed by third-party analytics platforms or shared with external systems beyond the form infrastructure used to receive them.

Given the potentially sensitive nature of what people submit through the Structural Snapshot, discretion is the most fundamental obligation of this practice, not an optional feature.

Your rights

You may request access to any personal information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. To do so, use the contact form on the Engagements page.
